2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3 1Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 5For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. 6But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. It is really simple folks: We are the sinners CHRIST is THE SAVIOUR Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: To be SAVED and SEALED by GRACE through FAITH SIMPLY BELIEVE and RECEIVE this GOSPEL: 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: SIMPLE! and GLORIOUS! The very moment YOU BELIEVE and RECEIVE this GOSPEL you are SAVED and SEALED for ETERNITY! Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. NO WORKS REQUIRED FROM YOU BUT CHRIST DID THE WORK! YOU BELIEVE AND RECEIVE TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY ! Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. A: The Apostle Paul. Q: WHO are the brethren is writing to? A: The believers in Corinth Q: WHO is DECLARING? A: The Apostle Paul. Q: WHAT is Paul DECLARING? A: THE GOSPEL that he PREACHED unto them, that THEY HAVE RECEIVED,and in it THEY STAND! By that Gospel they ARE SAVED! They need to keep in memory WHAT PAUL preached unto them...... UNLESS they have believed IN VAIN! Paul DELIVERED unto them FIRST OF ALL that he also received: HOW that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS , according to the Scriptures, and that HE WAS BURIED , and that HE ROSE AGAIN the THIRD DAY, according to the Scriptures.
