In the 4 Gospels,( Matthew,Mark,Luke,John )
( The Red Letters)
our Lord Jesus Christ said :

Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Matthew 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Matthew 9:9 ¶ And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Matthew 16:24 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mark 2:14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
Mark 8:34 ¶ And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luke 5:27 ¶ And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
Luke 9:23 ¶ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
John 1:43 ¶ The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
John 13:36 ¶ Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
John 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Question:  Did Christ ask any Gentile to FOLLOW HIM ?
If you read the verses in total honesty the answer is NO.

What about when Christ said:

Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Is anyone of us a lost sheep of the house of Israel?
What about the fact that Christ told his 12 Apostles not to go to the SAMARITANS or THE GENTILES to preach The Gospel of the Kingdom?

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Matthew 10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

Matthew 10:3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Matthew 10:4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Matthew 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

You can also read Luke 9 :2 and Luke 10:9
The 12 Apostles ( 12 Apostles to the 12 Tribes of Israel) were sent to the house of Israel not to the Gentiles.
What happened to Israel? Did they believe that JESUS was indeed their MESSIAH KING prophesied in hundreds of their Scriptures?
Did they receive HIM as the MESSIAH KING,THE HIGH PRIEST OF THE ORDER OF MELCHISEDEC ,THE PROPHET that MOSES said was going to come?
Did the nation of Israel accept the KING and The Kingdom?
GOD wanted them to be BORN AGAIN to see the Kingdom and to enter in the Kingdom but except a LITTLE FLOCK

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

The obvious conclusion is that we cannot follow Jesus in the RED LETTERS,neither we would be capable to do and GOD is not requiring us to do that.
WWJD....What Would Jesus Do? He would tell us TO FOLLOW PAUL TO FOLLOW HIM.
WHY?
Because CHRIST saved SAUL of TARSUS
here:

Acts 9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

Acts 9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Acts 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Acts 9:8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

Acts 9:9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Acts 9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

Acts 9:11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

Acts 9:12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Acts 9:13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

Acts 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Interestingly,Paul was Saul and Saul was the first king of Israel, not an obedient King, of the tribe of Benjamin
here:

Acts 13:21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
here Paul biography in short:

Philippians 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

Philippians 3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

WE CANNOT FOLLOW JESUS IN THE RED LETTERS BUT JESUS COMMANDS US TO FOLLOW PAUL TO FOLLOW HIM!

For those who want reject this glorious truth, remember:

1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

JESUS SENT PAUL TO US IN THIS DISPENSATION OF GRACE

Ephesians 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ephesians 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Ephesians 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

53 references which show Paul’s special apostleship from the Lord
Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. His position as the dispenser of the Lord’s instructions for
this age is largely ignored in mainstream Christianity.
I do NOT worship Paul,I worship The Lord Jesus Christ who sent PAUL to be "THE APOSTLE" to the Body of Christ, aka "THE NEW CREATURE"
The verses appear in canonical order.

my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
2. Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so
that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of
the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
3. Acts 22:21
And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I
magnify mine office:
8. Romans 15:15-16
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as
putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, That I
should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of
God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by
the Holy Ghost.
9. Romans 16:25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the
preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was
kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the
scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God,
made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
10. 1 Corinthians 1:1
Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and
Sosthenes our brother,
11. 1 Corinthians 1:17
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of
words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
12. 1 Corinthians 3:10
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I
have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take
heed how he buildeth thereupon.

For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to
death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many
fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I
beseech you, be ye followers of me.
15. 1 Corinthians 9:1-2
Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not
ye my work in the Lord? If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to
you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
16. 1 Corinthians 9:17
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a
dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
17. 1 Corinthians 11:1
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
18. 1 Corinthians 11:23

Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
19. 1 Corinthians 14:37
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that
the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

because I persecuted the church of God.
22. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

23. 2 Corinthians 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto

24. 2 Corinthians 11:5
For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
25. 2 Corinthians 12:11
I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been
commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I
be nothing.
26. 2 Corinthians 12:12
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs,
and wonders, and mighty deeds.
27. Galatians 1:1
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the
Father, who raised him from the dead;)
28. Galatians 1:8-9
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than
that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so
say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed.
29. Galatians 1:11-12

30. Galatians 1:15-16

heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
31. Galatians 2:2
And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I
preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by
any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
32. Galatians 2:6
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no
matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be
somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
33. Galatians 2:7
But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was
committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
34. Galatians 2:8
(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
35. Galatians 2:9
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the

afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church: Whereof
I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me
for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from

48. 1 Timothy 2:7
Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ,
and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
49. 2 Timothy 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of
life which is in Christ Jesus,
50. 2 Timothy 1:11
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the
Gentiles.
51. 2 Timothy 2:8
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead
according to my gospel:
52. Titus 1:1
Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of
God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
53. Titus 1:2-3
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world
began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is
committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour
