tCHALLENGE DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE YOUR BIBLE? DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE YOUR KJV? DO YOU? Let us see. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ALL SCRIPTURE is given by INSPIRATION of GOD. It says ALL SCRIPTURE. N.B. INSPIRATION means :"Breathed Into By God". GOD CANNOT LIE neither BE WRONG otherwise GOD is not more GOD. We know that the Holy Bible KJV is composed of 66 books, from Genesis to Revelation! Well, then, just consider that ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD . ALL means ALL. When we come to the KJV we must remember that it is HIS word recorded and written down and that GOD cannot lie. Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; In truth we must remember that we are dealing with the word of GOD and it is written: Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. Some people say that they believe the KJV but they pick and choose verses and chapters to their own liking, treating the KJV like a Fortune Cookies Collection, and that is wrong because the KJV needs to be read and studied in light of the purpose of its Author, the Holy Ghost Who being GOD has inspired the Holy Scriptures. 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. As said the Bible, the KJV is composed of 66 books. 1,189 Chapters ~31,102 verses ~ 39 Books in the Old Testament~ 929 Chapters in the Old Testament ~23,145 Verses in the Old Testament ~ 27 Books in the New Testament. 260 Chapters in the New Testament 7957 Verses in the New Testament More could be said, but the concept is clear, the King James Holy Bible 1611~ 1769 is indeed a big collection of books and IF one verse, one word is wrong, then you do not have the word of GOD because GOD IS RIGHTEOUS and HE IS THE TRUTH. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Psalms 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. 2 Chronicles 12:6 Whereupon the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, The LORD is righteous. 2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. Psalms 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Psalms 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Psalms 119:43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. 2 Corinthians 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Approaching the KJV we must remember that FAITH is required to BELIEVE what GOD wrote and is recorded in it. It is VITALLY IMPORTANT to understand the PROGRESSIVE REVELATION of the Scriptures and we MUST consider the DISPENSATIONAL aspect of the Holy Bible to be able to IDENTIFY the WILL of GOD and understand which part of the DOCTRINE applies to us. Miles Coverdale wrote: " “It shall greatly help ye to understand the Scriptures if thou mark not only what is spoken or written, but of whom and to whom, with what words, at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what goeth before and what followeth after. ” That is WHY this verse in Timothy holds a KEY concerning "HOW" to study the word of truth rightly divided. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. to be continued....
